I'm not going to stress it as a "no-no" like people always do when people ask about proxy sites, but I'm a firm believer in their legitimate uses, such as safeguarding people against malware intrusion, and protecting employees of companies privacy when they may be looking for employment elsewhere due to bad situations they may be in. Personally, if I'm mad at my company, and want to keep my job while looking for another, and not worry about issues, I'll use a proxy before jumping on Monster.com. I don't want them to know I'm looking for a new job so they can fire me.

Circumventing the blocks are probably in contravention of your school's/company's/usage policies and would not be a good idea, resulting in banning, suspension or expulsion. The fact that you have to ask how to do it leads me to believe that you do not have the technical skill to avoid being detected.





If you want to access stuff like YouTube or MySpace, be aware that the more bandwidth you are using, the more you are taking away from other legitimate users of that system.





The sites have probably been blocked for a very good reason. If you're accessing from a public space, i.e. school, library, college, or other public access point, you should ask the administrators why they have blocked those sites. Put your case as to why you should have access, but be prepared for a firm 'no'.

All of these have school-friendly URLs and designs to help prevent against filters. Best of all, these are brand new and very fast. :)
