Does Yahoo messgenger 8.0 support Webcam behind proxy and/or firewall?

The "connection setting" of Yahoo Messenger preferences allows use of proxies. If the proxy IP %26amp; port are mentioned, it is possible to use the yahoo messenger chat %26amp; voice chat. But when webcam is started, it displays error "Sorry, you appear to be behind a firewall and are currently unable to use the Yahoo! Webcam service". Yahoo help says that if may not be possible to use. Maybe with "No proxies" option it will always work. With Proxy configuration, the answer is not clear and is vague. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messeng...





Has anybody tried and succeeded in using webcam with proxy settings? Please advise.

My Yahoo Messenger is version 8. I have a webcam and it works fine with "No proxies".
