If you married by proxy in a country where it is not recognized and then you remarry again but not proxy..?

which married is legal? will USCIS allow you to petition the spouse you did not marry by proxy? or will USCIS not allow you to petition your spouse because you were married by proxy before?

If you married by proxy in a country where it is not recognized and then you remarry again but not proxy..?
As long as the second marriage is valid where it took place, then it would be valid for immigration purposes. Since the first marriage wasn't valid where it took place, it doesn't exist, legally. I'm no attorney, but I feel pretty safe in saying that.
