does bitcomet use proxy servers, i dont kno much about proxy servers but i do kno that they can be used to hide your ip address

if you don't want to give out your ip address, you shouldn't be filesharing using bittorrent. only client to client transfers lend themselves to privacy, such as bots on irc:
